It was an excellent viewing at prize giving. I was exited too watch some of performance which were performed by young kids. I was bracing my self for our year 8 item. I wasn’t really keen to sing as well as Tanielu and Moses. After we had sung the space song I was happy it was over and done with. Then on it was time for the year 8 boys item. I was pretty keen to go I'm best. After a long night I had really enjoyed my self.

Our Solar System
I had come to school in the morning thinking what the teacher had planned for us today. I was hoping that we were going to do something as a class.
It was the 2nd of November when our class room 21 had been doing some expirents about
our magnificent Solar System. First off Mrs Lagitupu had randomly selected a bunch of students to take place in a room 21 task . The main topic that we have been learning about for term 4 was about the solar system we live in. I found it very interesting.
So on the selected students had a balloon which represented a Planet in our Solar System. They had blown up the balloon to a reasonable size. As each student blowed up there balloon they had to stand up in the order of our Solar System. All selected students who were taking place were all lined up holding their balloon in the order from the sun. While they were standing up our teacher had given us a test too see what we know about each planet. Firstly she had said the sun. Many people just said it was hot and yellow. That wasn’t really a fact I said to my self.

Our Solar System
Awesome! I had never known that there would be so many bigger planets and stars than our own planet Earth. I was stunned to see much larger stars then the usual star we see during the day also known as the sun. I was wondering at the time if there was any existing life on any other planets or stars.
It was an amazing fact that the VV Cephai is the largest star of them all. VV Cephais size compared to planet Earths size is really a big difference. Probably 1,000,000 planet Earths will make up the whole of VV Cephai.
Now on I am looking forward to finding out more about our amazing Solar System. one of the facts I know is that the sun ain’t the biggest star of them all. Also what what I have found out is that it takes 8 months to Mars.

2011 RWC
It is a battle for the Webb Ellis Cup. It is between 20 other rugby teams around the world. The All Blacks are going too win as they had won all their pool games. Also they are going to win because they are ranked number 1 in the world at rugby. The other team that I am going for is Ireland because they had showed their self that they can beat Australia. So I hope Ireland does well in their up coming games. My Favourite players in the All Blacks are Zack Guilford, Ma’a Nonu , Israel Dagg, and the All Blacks captain Richie Mccaw.

RWC Writing
All people wearing red were obviously supporting the Tongan rugby team. That was their way of being great representative for their country. They were wearing red all over such as a red Face paint.Tongan flags and many more. Many Tongan supporters have big passion for the rugby team.
The All Blacks started off their Haka with a look of aggressiveness. The All Blacks were performing the Haka loud and proud. It looked like the All Blacks were threatening the Tongan rugby team while doing the Haka.
Israel Dagg Defended the Tongan player with a Dynamic hand to the face while he was trying to reach the try line.

Silly spots day.
It was last week Friday when Room 19 too room 22 had a silly sports day. Their was four types of events taking place. Their was Mrs Lagitupu who was holding the Ball Tiggy. Their was Miss- Tito who was holding the Slingshot targets. Also their was Mr Harris who was holding the Steady walking event. Last but no least their was Mrs Nua who held the wet sponge and bucket game.
First off we had our wonderful teacher Mrs Lagitupu. We we're playing ball tiggy. But it wasn't the ball tiggy we're you ran everywhere and throw it at your opponent. This Ball Tiggy game was different too the Ball Tiggy that you we're thinking. In this Ball Tiggy you have too have 2 teams. 1 team has too try not get tagged from the ball in the boundry. And the other has to pass the ball too each of thier team mates and tag the other team with the ball with out any throwing.
So the game had started. I was ttreing to avoid getting tagged. I was doing well untill the other team member had tripped me up. I was really annoyed but not for long. It was our turn too tag the other team. The whistle had been blow giving us a signal too start. So on I had got about three people out. Out of 8. That was a really cool game to play.
My favourie Silly sport of that day was Miss Tito with the Slingshots Taget game. The reason I really enjoyed that game was because I found it quite interesting to play. It was my turn up to give it a go. I was thinking that wouldn’t do well but as i let go of the sling shot i just managed to just get it next to the hoop. All i could hear in the background was OHHHHHHHHHHH!. I didn’t know they did that but I did very well.
It was a heap of fun that day and hope too do those events every week.

2011 Cross Country.
On Wednesday the 10th of August the intermediate block of Pt England school competed in a Cross Country event. I wasn’t prepared for Cross Country as I didn’t have any practice. I was very annoyed when we got told there was country before the actual day.
The day had come for the Cross Country event. I was hoping I would do well. The first race was the yr 7 girls. They all lined up hoping they would take the lead. Clap! The girls were off. They all took off like a stampede of bulls. Some tried to keep their paste but some we’re just off like a missile.
As the races past it was the yr 8 boys turn. I had Butterflies as I was approaching the start line. On your marks get set go BANG!! goes the two pieces of wood colliding together to make a big clap. We all jogged off like if there was no such thing as time.
I was half way through the track I decided to keep my pase and not waste my energy. I had past alot of people. As i was running up the muddy stairs accidently face planted into the dirt. Luckly no one was around to see me trip up in a instant.
The finish line was slowly approaching. I couldn’t wait to past the line as i was suffering from a painful stich. “ Finally “ i said to my self I had just finished the race. The placeing i got was 8th.
I had a wonderful race and I am now looking forward to the inter zones.r

Life Caravan
Last week on Thursday our class room 21 had been to the Life Education Caravan. Since we are year 8 and 7’s Lynne our life educator talked about the serious fact of puberty. I thought it was wrong to talk about puberty but Lyn said it was normal.
Lyn talked about illegal and legal drugs. I had thought about what types of legal drugs there are. There were times when Lyn asked us a question. I didn’t really put my hand up for anything. After all the questions and answers Lyn started talking about puberty, She said there was 7 steps on a ladder. I didn’t really get why she was talking about 7 steps on the ladder but I just agreed with what other people said.
That time we went to the Life Education caravan we didn’t get too see Harold. After a while we had a little bit of a stretch. It was 15 minutes until we had to leave the Life Education Caravan. In that period of 15 minutes Lyn had put on a movie called ‘From The Shadows’. The movie was based on a true story.
